Dear Fred:

\JIt was nice hearing from you, if only to get a request that I may not be able
to satisfy. I well remember doing the work that you mention but, for the life
of me, I do not recall the details as to whether I ever wrote a formal report
or not. Copies of the program were made available to a number of people who
were interested in different types of program material and it may be that some
of these people ar more careful than I have been about keeping records of their
old work. Possible people might be Nat Rochester, Jerry Haddad, or better yet,
my former secretary who is now married and living in New Hampshire, .

I would only make one correction, it seems to me that I first did this type
of analysis for the 701 and about the time that we were considering the design
of the 704. It may be that the old program was dusted off and used for the 7090
too but I do not remember for sure.

From the fact that you added "Please Forward" to my address I judged that you
rather expected that I would be retired by now but such is not the case. I did
take a Sabbatical a couple of years ago and spent it in Australia and New Zealand
but I am back at Stanford and still working 6 and 7 days a week.\.

I am sorry that I can not be of more help.
